PROJECT DAD and PROJECT MOM Debut on CMT

Kevin Fox, President & CEO of Re:Source Media inc., today announced the debut of PROJECT DAD and PROJECT MOM on CMT Canada. The half hour HD reality series celebrates hardworking moms and dads by letting them live the life of their favorite country music performer.

“This marks a new type of reality series.” explained Mr. Fox. “These are uplifting stories where each show is a poignant tale of ordinary people living an extraordinary, life affirming experience.”

Hosted by CMT’s own Beverley Mahood, PROJECT DAD and PROJECT MOM, take moms  and dads hand-picked from across Canada who have been nominated as heroes—at work, in their community or at home—and gives them the ultimate fantasy. The moms and dads enjoy an on-location getaway complete with star treatment as they live like their favorite country idol. PROJECT DAD debuts Jan. 1, 2007 with PROJECT MOM following on Feb. 19, 2007.

“This show is truly a celebration of great parents,” said Ted Ellis, Director of Programming, CMT. “Both the PROJECT DAD and PROJECT MOM series showcase examples of community heroes in a way that reflects and connects with the CMT audience. We look forward to continuing these series and sharing more viewers’ stories.”
